From feeling to form.
Some things cannot be spoken. They live in the body, in memory, in the quiet space between who we were and who we are becoming. I have spent a lifetime feeling the world this way — deeply, and in detail. For a long time I was told that was too much. Now I understand it's exactly what the work requires. This is where the work begins.
What does consciousness look like? What is the texture of expectation? What colour translates joy — or grief — or the ache of something not yet named?
I create sculptural textile artwork that holds these questions in form. The grief and the joy. The ending and the beginning. The beautiful and the broken — not as opposites, but as the same truth, caught in different light. All of it worthy of form. Because being truly seen — even once — changes everything.

Every piece begins long before the making. In the sourcing of reclaimed industrial textiles and natural dyes.
